MISC: Lucah is not one for gaudy, awful tattoos, but he has a remembrance tattoo of an angel wing on his bicep with the date of his mother's death and the phrase "Iubire veșnică" which translated from Romanian means 'Everlasting Love'.
Lucah grew up with a specific day-to-day uniform that he's altered since his time at Eden. He wears mostly dark colors that highlight his dark features and make his eyes more capturing. Lucah is usually seen in a black button-up shirt and dark denim jeans on casual occasions (not what his father taught him) or black pants (which is the Ivaskov way). Depending on the day, he might even wear a black tie loosely around his neck and is always wearing black dress shoes or black tennis shoes.
PERSONALITY: There's four words that could sum up Lucah Ivaskov's personality. Arrogant, brooding, passionate, and chivalrous. All of these traits are twisted and morphed between good and bad, making Lucah, who prefers black and white, a major gray area, which does not set well in his family. There is no gray in the Ivaskov name.
Arrogant. This is what makes people hate him the most. He believes that he is better than everyone in every way possible because that was what his family taught him to believe. He treats people as if they are scum. He hates being confronted and if he is confronted, well expect a fight.
This is a problem with his Ivaskov genetics. An Ivaskov does not fight with fists, but rather with words and manipulation. However, it is required that an Ivaskov knows how to fight physically, if by some chance it becomes necessary.
Brooding. He is always lost in thought, and very focused. Most of the time it is while he's reading, other times he'll be sitting alone, staring into nothing, but thinking about everything. It's common that his mind wanders, although he hates when it does.
It is not the Ivaskov way to be distracted at any time. Ivaskov men must be sharp always.
Passionate. Lucah isn't a calm person by any means. If he loves something or hates something, it's with a passion. He doesn't have light feelings, he is a deep soul. His feelings are just amplified more than others. People mistake his passion for something that is good because those who are passionate can love more than those who aren't. Lucah is a hateful person, he doesn't love so therefore he hates more than those who don't share his passion.
Ivaskov men are not meant to be passionate. Passion and romanticism are for the women.
Chivalrous. He grew up as if he were living in an earlier time when chivalry wasn't dead. He believes in being polite and formal at all times unless you are fond of someone. It takes a lot for Lucah to grow fond of anything, but at some times he will show his softer side and usually he regrets it almost instantly. He was taught to be hard and cold, but his passion and chivalry make it difficult for him to just keep his mask on at all times.
Chivalry is taught to Ivaskov men, only because it is a sign of being a gentleman. However, an Ivaskov man must always remain formal in the public eye. Public displays of affection are looked down upon.
Lucah doesn't trust anyone with his secrets. His past. He keeps everything to himself, all feelings unless you break through the walls around him. On the inside, though you never truly get to see it, Lucah is one of the sweetest most caring people you could meet, which is what outcasts him from the Ivaskov men.
SECRET(S): Lucah's mother died during the birth of his younger sister. He takes after her side of the family much more than his father's and was outcast by his father for that reason. CHILDHOOD: Lucah was born and raised in Romania. His family was made up of nobles which made him a little rich. He had a loving mother that saw him as her pride and joy. His father saw him in a much different light. It grew to become a mutual feeling between the two, but it was never confronted. The marriage between his mother and father had been all but arranged, two families with ways to benefit themselves by way of marrying into each others' family. Lucah was Jessamine's only Ivaskov love from the moment he was born on the 3rd of March.
His mother shaped who he became up until he was five years old. They were expecting another child, and Lucah was ecstatic to become a brother. In August, the baby was born, but with the joy of a new addition to the family, came the grief of the loss of another. Jessamine didn't survive through the child birth, leaving Lucah in the hands of the Ivaskov men, to be shaped and morphed into someone different. Someone cold and unfeeling.
Jez was very different from Lucah. She had been coddled growing up, she was his father's little princess. Dimitri couldn't hardly stand his son much because in his eyes, Lucah was weak. Lucah had a very skinny build when he was young, he had been brought up to be caring and compassionate by his mother, which was the way of a woman, not of a man. Least of all an Ivaskov. It didn't seem fair. Lucah didn't take it out on his baby sister though, they grew very close, and she became what his mother had been for him. Relief in the constant demands of his father.
ADOLESCENCE: During his time in school from kindergarten up until he was fourteen, Lucah was in a prestigious school in Romania, learning everything that he was capable in such a short amount of time. It was when he turned fourteen that his father decided that it wasn't enough. He was going to be shipped off to Edenbourg to learn the important things in life. It was where his father had studied, all throughout his lineage back to when Eden first opened. The Ivaskov name was well-known throughout the school, and Lucah was to become the next Ivaskov man to make a name for himself there.
His years in high school were the way that any teenage boy with a tyrant of a father would spend his time. By being everything his father wanted him to be...except on occasion Lucah would let his true side out. Often found in the music room, he'd learned to express himself through the arts and found his love through piano and guitar. It was one of his guilty pleasures, one that he kept from his father.
Despite aging and going through what every boy his age does, Lucah didn't act on his hormones. He didn't allow for immaturity, for fear of his father paying a visit and making him feel even less than what he was. This went on until the moment Lucah turned eighteen, when his father no longer had power over him.
ADULTHOOD: With the reign of his father's word no longer hanging over his head, Lucah began to seek out the things his mother had brought into his life. Music, passion, and freedom to be who he wanted. Lucah remained in the major that his father intended, and even kept up the pretense of being an Ivaskov man. He joined the fraternity that he was sworn into the day that he was born, as his great grandfather was a founder of the group and it had been waiting his arrival. Everything was going the way that it needed to go.
Two years later and Lucah is figuring out the inner workings of his family, barely scratching the surface of the corruption he knew was lying beneath his name. He's found himself one of the head members of his fraternity, though he doesn't quite fit the bill the way the others do.
