SCHOOL INFORMATION -
Edenbourg, or Eden is a boarding school for children and teenagers that are thirteen years and older. It's a combined high school and college and is one of the most prestigious schools in the world. It has ranked higher and is claimed to be better than schools such as Yale, Harvard, Brown, etc. Eden is set on the coast of Greece and Edenbourg Village (Despite it's title, it's much larger than one would think) is set west of the school - close enough to walk by foot, but far away enough that the noise wouldn't disturb the residence of the school.
The school offers dormitory rooms as well as sorority and fraternity houses, school clubs and sports. The school has a list of rules that you can read about below. The school itself is run by a school council, members from various countries and a headmaster appointed by the council. Each dorm (Girls, boys and co-ed) has its own "housemaster" or "dorm monitor".
School is open from 7:30AM to 4PM, though classrooms and school club offices are left open until 10PM. The school offers a properly trained health education system, with school nurses, school counselors, an on-call doctor and others. Training facilities such as the swimming pool, training field, gymnasium and dancing studio are open to 10PM on weekdays and 11PM on weekends. Same goes for the auditorium and music room.
The cafeteria is only operational with staff until 8PM, but the kitchen is left open all day and all night for those hungry midnight snackers. The library are left open throughout the day and the night as well.
Breakfast is served at 07:45 AM and dinner is served at 7PM.
SCHOOL RULES -
- For students under the age of SIXTEEN, light's out (preferably) at 10PM and for older students, 11PM, anyone wandering around the school after 1AM (curfew) will be punished, regardless of age.
- There are no school uniforms offered at Eden, but there is still a proper dress code in action. Anyone dressing too "maturely" might be asked to go change immediately, or worse. The school staff reserves the right to judge case by case.
- Weapons of any kind are NOT allowed and any student or staff carrying a weapon on school grounds will be immediately expelled. The same goes for any kinds of violence and physical assault.
- If anyone damages school property, they'll also have to take responsibility for it. This means that the school staff can and will ask for this to be paid out of the student (or their parents) pocket.
- Alcohol and narcotics on school grounds are forbidden. No exceptions.
- Girls dormitories are for GIRLS, boy dormitories are for BOYS. The only place where these can be mixed are in the co-ed dormitories (For students under the age of eighteen, they need parent approval to stay in the co-ed dormitories).
- Pagers and mobile phones should only be used after school or during free periods.
- Bullying is against the rules and can be grounds of expulsion.
- The school is not responsible for any loss, so keep your valuables somewhere safe.
- All non-boarders must sign-in at the Boarding School Office before entering the Boarding School.
